Laboratory

Hillsdale Community Health Center Laboratory is dually accredited by The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program. The laboratory strives to provide exemplary service to our patient and physician community. The laboratory offers a wide range of testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology, Serology, Pathology, Cytology, and Urinalysis.  The laboratory has multiple locations which patients can have their blood drawn:

When visiting a Patient Draw Site, the person should bring the following information with them:

• A patient test requisition from a healthcare professional requesting laboratory testing.
• A current insurance identification card (Medicare, Medicaid, or Private Insurance).
• A current photo identification for urine drug screens or paternity collections (i.e. driver’s license)

Specialty tests that require an appointment are as follows: 

• Glucose tolerance screening
• Paternity Testing
• Sweat chloride testing
